Educational Program

In order to offer the best educational opportunities possible, we need your help! The Call for Programs invites individuals to submit proposals for educational sessions to be held at the conference. Sharing your knowledge, research and experience with those delegates in attendance can assist others in planning out their road map to success!

We have three leadership experiences that delegates can choose to participate in. The Professional Leadership Experience, Graduate Student Leadership Experience and Student Leadership Experience will all offer the opportunity to network and gain tools, ideas and information for intentional growth personally and professionally.

We really encourage and challenge those that are submitting proposals to be creative and innovative. Please keep in mind the interest and benefit to the target audience and the adaptability of the ideas to other institutions and programs.

Also remember that ACUI has identified 11 core competencies for the college union and student activities profession. Regardless of job responsibilities or position level, these 11 competencies permeate all work in the profession. While brainstorming ideas for session proposals, consider these core competencies: Communication, Facilities Management, Fiscal Management, Human Resources Management, Intercultural Proficiency, Leadership, Management, Marketing, Planning, Student Learning and Technology.

Sessions can be submitted online by logging into the ACUI website here.

The deadline for submitting proposals is Friday, August 6th.

We feel that your program submission would be a great addition to this year’s educational program and the overall conference experience. Thank you in advance for your consideration. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Educational Sessions Coordinator, Erin Morrell, with any comments or questions.
