ACUI Region 1 Needs YOU!

Region 1 is excited to announce that we have 4 spots open on our 2012 Conference Planning Team (CPT)! We are looking to add to our already diverse and united team of committed, passionate, and driven students, graduate students, and professionals. The 2012 ACUI Region 1 Conference will be held November 16 – 18th at the University of Connecticut and we can guarantee that in true Region 1 fashion, it will be a conference to remember!

2012 Region 1 Conference

Hello ACUI Region 1 Friends and Colleagues

I hope everyone is having an incredible start to your March. On behalf of the Regional Leadership Team I have some great news to share! First and foremost, I would like to announce that the 2012 ACUI Region 1 Conference will be held on November 16th – 18th at the University of Connecticut. We are very excited to travel back to CT and to come together in a Student Union with so much history and character. The outstanding staff at UConn are excited for our arrival and Kim Schwarz, our host chair, and I have already begun the process of preparing.

Secondly, our 2012 Conference Planning Team has been chosen! I think as you read below you will realize just how lucky I am to be conference chair this year and how blessed I will be to work with each of the people below. These unbelievably talented volunteers will be your eyes, ears and voices during the planning process so be sure to let them know your thoughts on best practices and what you would like to see for our regional conference. Each year the bar gets set higher and higher and I am beyond confident that this group will once again plan a holistic and empowering experience for everyone in our Region.
